Interested in online teaching? Have some time next week on Tues, Wed or Thurs? You can save yourself the time and expense of spending three days at a conference and still benefit from Professional Development with the experts in the field.
On Oct. 19, 20 and 21, Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hosting campus-wide attendance at the 4th Annual Jossey-Bass Online teaching and Learning Conference. This conference is held completely on line with one day of pre-conference workshops followed by two days of conference sessions. Sessions are presented by invited authors of guide books relating to online teaching and learning. The conference is attended by hundreds of colleagues from around the world.
Thanks to CTL, the conference will be broadcast to the U of A campus community here in the Education Building thus making it easy for you to drop in only to those sessions that interest you or when you have some 'free' time, or to attend the entire conference, free of charge ( a savings to you of over USD $240.)
